Day 1

Afternoon: Check-In at 1825 Inn Bed and Breakfast

Start your weekend by checking in our charming and historic 1825 Inn Bed and Breakfast. Located just minutes from all the big Hershey attractions, it offers peace without sacrificing convenience. One of our private cottages, nestled away from the Main House for additional seclusion and privacy, is the perfect place for a weekend getaway for couples.

If you’re staying to celebrate a special occasion, we offer romantic enhancements to add to your stay like roses, chocolates, wine, cheeses, or a celebratory cake. It’s an easy but thoughtful way to start a romantic weekend getaway in PA.

Evening: Dinner at The Mill in Hershey

Kick off your romantic escape with dinner at The Mill in Hershey. More than just a “run-of-the-mill” restaurant, this historically restored mill offers award-winning cocktails and a fabulous dinner menu. Filet mignon, seared scallops, Maryland crab cakes…yum! This is one of our favorite places to eat in Hershey, but we recommend making a reservation to secure a seat at this locally beloved eatery.

Day 2

Morning: Love is in the Air…Literally!

After enjoying a delicious and hot sit-down breakfast at the inn, head out for an exhilarating hot air balloon ride. Soar over breathtaking views of Amish Country, the Susquehanna River, and even the headwaters of the Chesapeake Bay on a clear day. This unforgettable experience will leave you with memories of your romantic getaway to cherish forever.

Late Morning: Hershey Gardens

After you are back on the ground, visit Hershey Gardens for a romantic walk through its beautifully landscaped grounds. Explore the seasonal flower displays, the Japanese Garden, and the Butterfly Atrium. With stunning views of Hersheypark and plenty of peaceful spots to sit and enjoy nature, this is a perfect way to connect and unwind.

Afternoon: Enjoy a Spa-tacular Massage

That was a busy morning! After your adventures, it’s time for such well-deserved R&R at The Spa At The Hotel Hershey. Famous for its chocolate-inspired services, this luxurious spa offers massages, facials, and body wraps infused with the sweet aroma of cocoa. Treat yourselves to the signature Chocolate Fondue Wrap or a Cocoa Massage for a deeply relaxing couples treatment.

Evening: Romantic Riverboat Ride

Why not enjoy romance by land and sea (okay, technically river)? After a relaxing spa treatment, head to City Island near Harrisburg for dinner aboard The Pride of the Susquehanna riverboat. Couples that haven’t found their sea legs can still enjoy beautiful riverfront views while sipping a cocktail at The Boro or The Wharf Bar & Grill. Neither of those sounds appealing? Food is a love language, and Hershey has plenty of restaurants with outdoor seating.
